I had my work done in the Norristown, PA area (somewhat along US 202 north of I-76).
I'll give you the trans shop info. They just did a tricky MTX-75 rebuild/LSD install. Everything cost $700. Labor was $350, machine shop for Quaife was $175, and parts was the rest (replaced some bearings to standard from off-spec rebuild bearings). They didn't pull the trans; that's included in the 3L.

My 'Tour is very fresh in their minds and they passed the "Terry Haines" quality test.
I'll ask my mechanic if he would ever want to work on a Contour again. If so, he has done a great job through the trials and tribulations of the 3 liter. He is very meticulous and won't half-a$$ anything. For example, he spotted the reused axle bolts (a no-no from a previous Ford Service experience), and used plumb lies to align the subframe due to a missing alignment cone of some sort. I'll post Tuesday if you are interested. $60/hr labor rate.
