Shifter won\'t engage gears I posted this topic in the problems section. What I first thought was a minor shifter problem may now be a tranny bust
. The shifter slides up and down with no resistance and it feels like its not grabbing any gear. I pulled the shifter apart to see if there was a problem but I couldn't see anything wrong. Anyone know a tranny shop around otherwise I might think about sending it out to Terry Haines.
