I have a 99 contour sport and I have no idea what it has (parts and that). I know very little about cars and all I know is that it has the 24V 170 hp 2.5L Duratech engine. My friend told me that its in between the SE model and the SVT but that doesnt help much.

I need to know what it has so I can put more into it.

You know enough. You have a non-SVT duratech, that's basically all you need to know to get started.

If it helps....it's my understanding from what I've read that the SE sport is basically the most optioned (or equipped) Contour made in 99 besides the SVT. Knowing you have a non SVT Duratech is also a very important bit of info when looking for mods, along with if you have an auto or stick. Keep your eyes on the boards here and you're likely to learn a great deal about cars, especially the 'Tour, as well as who knows what about what. Welcome to the CEG.
