I usually just poke around the Off-topic and general forums but I was wondering if there was anyone here from upstate? I'm up at school in Albany right now and wouldn't mind getting together with anyone in the area.
Pete
Every time I come online I wonder if the forums will be up

Mine was there too, The did the recall on the Tranny Fluid. But the assholes cracked my side skirts. I have to take it back so they could fix it.

Not only did they totally disable my stereo system, but they also cut out the transformer to my neon light and diconnected my HID light and theydidn't inform me of any of this. They also left the fuse panel under the steering wheel down so I couldn't shift. They also disabled my hands free car kit and left it hanging on the floor. They claim that since they didn't know how to reconnect "aftermarket" equipment they cut my wires short and just left them there. I have pics and will post soon. They will never see my car again for service. Just to pay for the damage they caused.

That is ridiculous 1HOT My Ford dealership experiences haven't been good but that sounds downright sh*tty. Good luck if you want to pursue legal action let me know

I dont know of any other SVT dealers that are nearby. Also, there was a ****load of mud in my car. I yelled at the jerk who always trys to help me. then they have the balls to call me and ask how my experice was with there serice department. I ripped it to piece's. I want to get it fixed soon, but I dont want them to drive my car. I guess I will bring it by this week. Oh well. Your car looked nice by the way. Later.

From Saratoga here, but work in Albany. I don't drive every day; most days I take the bus. I have nightmares about some 50-something woman rear-ending me on the Northway as she is busy putting makeup on or something like that...or some moron on a cell phone.
I do drive anywhere from 1-3 days per week, depending on work or other considerations.
I saw another red SVT headed east on Western Ave. between Route 85 and the split with Madison Ave. last Friday afternoon - around 5:30 or so...no idea who it was, though.
So, hello to all you CapDistrict folks.

Oh, yeah - forgot to mention. I get my work done at Jack Byrne Ford (they are an authorized SVT dealer) in Mechanicville and while they haven't had to fix any major problems yet, they haven't given me any reason to dislike their work.
Just my $.02.
