We have a guy here at our office, he is a firefighter who does electrical work as well (we have liek 3 companies operationg ot of our building). Anyway, he came in today and broke down.....6 of his friends were lost when the towers came down. It just makes me so angry that there was nothing to be done about this, nobody saw it coming. I just want to break something right now. What a screwed up world we live in.......

I mean I wept for my country and those lost yesterday morning......but it's disturbing to see such a big and strong man uncontrollably crying like that

I think the United States got somewhat complacent with their country and their freedom. As we should have. But now, after driving on Friday night on a street that usually has crime and trouble, seeing ALL STREET LIGHTS turned off, but yet, there was more light than ever...after seeing thousands of people driving and beeping their horns, parked and waving flags and holding candles, people, who prior to this attack, were attacking each other but are now lighting each others candles....It was moving.
