If you want to get daring, you could pry off the panel and fix it yourself. I'd bet a small sum of money that it's just a regular potentiometer (POT, Volume Knob), meaning you can yank it and get a replacement at radion shack. If you can solder, you can put it in. Also, note the length of the shaft (sounds gay huh?) believe me, you don't want to spend 20 minutes cutting a $2 part down to size. I'm full of info, when I was 18 I BS'ed my way into a technician job at chucky cheese! HTH laugh
