I'll be there, but this time with the Corvette. It seems a group on the
www.corvetteforum.com suggested Wednesday night at Nathan's, and a bunch of people are on board, so I told them I would bring the 'vette. I told them about the Contours there, and that they'll need more than 9 Corvettes to be the most popular car there.
It'll be the first time at Nathans for the corvetteforum group.
Hopefully this will be the start of reviving 'car nite' at Nathans. It used to be absolutely crazy there in the late '80s to early '90s - absolutely packed with great cars. People were doing burnouts all the time as they left on Long Beach Road. Unfortunately the cops caught on with all the mayhem, and it faded away.
