Thats right after milling over it for some time my Car is up for sale. You guy's have been an excellent group and it's been a tough decision for me to let the car go.
I have finally bought a rally blue WRX. So my SVT is up for grabs for any CEG'er in the GTA.
1998 black SVT on dark blue/black leather
61,000kms. Perfect shape inside and out. The car was 3 staged waxed twice a year and always kept clean inside and out. No rust. Never smoked in and maintained properly. The only mod is a KKM intake and I still have the stock airbox set up. The car is an excellent buy and shows beautifully.
I'm am selling it certified and e tested and will ask about $18,900 in the auto trader, in about a week so I would take b/o from you guys if anyone is interested.

There's been one in the Trader for 4 weeks now with only 48,000 KM and asking for 16,900. The guy is impossible to get a hold of.

Yeah, I left two messages for him but he never called me back, I guess he already sold it. He was practically giving it away at that price. I'd probably let mine go for the same price to a CEG'er.

Forgot to ask if you had any recalls. Have you had any problems with the engine i.e. oil starvation, water pump the usual?

FYI, My friend purchased a 98.5 (T-Red, just under 60,000kms) for $14,500 from a dealer in Ottawa this past winter.
It's really a shame that these cars have depreciated so much.
I still cling to the hope that someday they'll be highly sought after rare collectibles, showing at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, say in 2030.
Maybe. Just in case, my 98 SVT will NEVER BE SOLD!

If I could find one in T-Red or Silver in the 50,000 - 60,000 KM range I'd be all over it like a dirty sock.
