Re electrical device in prior post.
I seem to recall reading about this device recently when the government disputed the claims made by mfr.
Caveat empor (buyer beware).

I might add that underground utility companies have been using cathodic protection on pipes for years to prevent corrosion. This corrosion occurs due to natural galvanic action and cathodic protection adds a small reverse electrical charge to neutralize the effect.
