Hey all, I was thinking that we've never had a formal Montreal/Toronto CEG meet. Why is that? Is the good natured rivalry between our cities keeping us apart?
I'm sure if we organized one, it'd be the biggest CEG meet north of the border. Any takers?
My thoughts being we find a meeting place somewhere halfway between the cities, and maybe make a weekend out of it? Perhaps stir up some Ottawa region CEG'ers as well?
Any ideas to this thread are welcome...

Ottawa is a good place to meet and there a lot of things to do there. We should get a date set and select somewhere easy to find.
FWIW - those small towns in between are good fun - I was raised between two of them and know lots of fun activities.

It's probably because GTA people don't really like to travel much. They're not like me, driving 1.5 hours for a meet ha!

I love to travel. I would be up to a joint meet in Ottawa, or if you want to stay off the Highway, you could go to Cornwall. I know not much there to do, but hey they have bars and isnt that all that matters. Why dont you try to plan something. I'm sure lots of people would go.

If we make it to Montreal we should coordinate with the Montreal and New England folks. This could turn out to be a really big gathering!
Black '98.0 GL V6/MTX, tints, SVT airbox (sans fender boot), stock muffler replaced with spiral racing muffler, A6 side markers, Cougar 16" polished wheels w/ bald 205/50/16 Yoko A520's, Mobil 1 5W30, Castrol SATF/Ford FM tranny cocktail, 9005 high-beam bulbs all around, re-aimed stock foglights

Then if it's summer there's always Kingston which is half way for everybody, and has a LOT of Irish Pubs downtown right by the water. I'm in for a long drive though, I really don't mind going anywhere.
