Same here - 24 MPG in mixed driving in the summer, about 22/23 in winter.

i used to get really mediocre mileage somewhere around 18 or so im guessing...i was getting about 240 on a tankful....quick math 240 / 14 = 17 and some change...

since iv'e done 2 bottles of regain (time for another) only 91 octane as its good as we get now dammit and the filter and cleaned the outside area only of the throttle body....

the driving i have to do i dont really get to do freeway driving until i run out i usually fill up before getting on the fwy both way

when i was able to get a full tank in i got 310 miles!!! and that was before i changed my plugs and wires

and i keep my foot in the tank laugh

95 contour se...dark blue...monsterflow air filter...remanuf atx...wiring harness recall or bust!!!96k miles...motorcraft awsf32pp plugs & red ford racing 9mm wires...kvr black plated cross-drilled rotors & carbon fiber pads...currently undergoing renovation...excuse our dust!!!
are my dodgers for real????

The temperature reads somewhere around middle? the mystique doesn't have normal written on it so I can't really say. I used a bottle of some fuel injector cleaner to no avail. My car only has 37,xxx miles on it. I'll try to check under the hood next time I have a chance. Thanks for the suggestions.

I have gotten 20 or less hot footing it around town and close to 30 on the highway since new. It's all good to me, it is a blast to drive. Have 40+k on the odometer and unless the numbers take a nose dive, I am not concerned.

I like the Jetta TDIs a lot, provided it has the MTX as yours does. If a drunk were to plow into me tonight and I had an insurance check coming, I'd seriously consider one. (hopefully not, as I LOVE my SVT, don't get me wrong! smile )

But then, I'm so upside down on my car I'd probably end up with a used econobox instead... frown

It doesn't seem to matter for me - city or highway driving. I am always around 22-24 mpg.

60% city; 40% highway driving- 26 mpg like clockwork.

The Festiva  gets 45; but guess which one's more fun to drive?
