Adjusted for US gallons, I see 20-23 mpg on the commute to work (60% city, 40% highway). During this work commute, my secondaries are probably never ever open (tame driver, shift by 3500 rpm).
In city driving, I dip below 20 mpg. Secondaries also never open.
In pure highway driving, 25-28 mpg is normal. Been up to 31 mpg several times, though.
It seems that if I drive slightly more enthusiastically on the daily commute, (shift above 4k) the mileage does not drop, it actually improves. But if I stick my foot in it frequently, the mileage plummets. Hauling people or towing makes the mpg drop like a rock.
You guys with poor mileage...do you drive with your windows down in the summer? That is a huge drag.
