Hi, The darkest you can go in the front is 28%, it doesn't matter how dark in the rear, but with millennium they only make 18% as the darkest film. laura's car is 28% all around the same as mine , but it's up to you!. it takes 1/2 day to do a car with out rushing as I usually have 10 to 15 cars to do every day. i don't like to post pricing on the net but don't worry I will give you guys a special deal ( cheaper than what I charge my car dealers )Millennium film is very expensive and is the best film available on the market today @ I will look like an idiot to my fellow tinters if they see what I charge you guys for high end film. so give me a call or stop by and check us out. thanks Sean

it depends on how long it has been on there, but it usually takes at least a couple of hours, so we just charge $35.00/hr. Sean

My car has had the tints since I bought it used in Oct. of '99 (not quite 2 years ago). I suspect the dealership where I got it from had it put on as the place that did it is nowhere near where the previous owner lived.

It was great when I got the car but I've been thinking of getting it redone as it looks to me like it's starting to develop a blue cast (it used to have more of a greenish cast). The top part of the tint on the rear window doesn't stick to the little black "dots" and it just flaps around when I have the windows down - can this be fixed, either by applying more "glue" or cutting off the excess?

One thing that annoys me about the tint in the back is that at night, I see "multiple images" from headlights and such due to the uneveness of the tint where it goes over the defrost lines. I don't know if this is normal for tints in general, or if it's just bad material on mine. This is my main motivation for getting it redone.

Anyways, here's a recent pic of my car:

Any idea what % tint I have on mine? It doesn't look that way in the pic but I'm pretty sure I have the same % all around.

BTW, I'm going to try to make it out to the meet this Sunday.

Thanks!

Hey guys,

WIll there will be a problem with power windows (tinting that is). WIll I eventually have a problem with stuff peeling off?

Sean! You come highly recommended, but there's no way I can make it up to Newmarket! Anyone know of a good shop in Mississauga or Brampton?

Help!

Gerald it looks like you have 35% dyed film @ that's why its changing colour, the multiple images in the rear window could be the film distorting as it is probably reaching the end of it's lifespan. Unfortunately I don't know of any good shops in the miss @ bramton area ( that doesn't mean there isn't any )there is a good shop in oakville called Superior rust proofing and they do excellant work.
