somewhere in facts or something t6heir is a link 2 oil filter testing frams were by far the worst cheaply made filters with cardboard tops, instead of metal and a bypass that sticks open so the dirty oil keeps flowin through the filters have a tendency 2 blow apart under high pressure and at start up, plus their top of the line filters have teflon in them, even teflon doesn't recomend it 4 engines, putting abbrassives in your engine isn't the greatest idea ever, what kind of r&d do they hav? or is all there $ spent on marketing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You are going to love this. I called the Ford Dealer in Aurora to find out how much an oil change would cost with Semi-Synthetic oil. He had no idea what I was talking about. He didn't know what Semi-Synthetic oil was and said that he had never heard of it and he said that he has been in this business for 35 years. Scary. And then people question me as to why I am picky about who works on my car.

Had the oil changed at Super Tech saturday, was exactly as you described.

lauraq, I usually go to summit as they have evening hours untill 8.00 pm (I think) for oil changes and that's just so my warranty stays good!!! don't go to Shanahan or Mcalpine as there service depts suck. (I'm even baned from shanahan's service dept for almost giving there service manager a beating he deserved (he got fired @ me baned ) Twin Hills Ford in Richmond hill used to have a great service dept, but i havent been there for a while to know if it's still so. sean
