I just filed my Adjustment of Status with the USINS, and they took my I-94 Departure Record away so I won't be able to cross the border until I get my green card about 6 months from now... Have fun with all those meet this summer!!!

Good luck Airknight. My sister waited 8 months and then gave up cause she was homesick. I think it's a game to INS.

Damn Dominic, I wanted to drive up to TO to meet some of the "local" CEGers. Oh well, guess I will have to go by myself

Have you considered filing an application for advance parole? I believe the form is I-485, and you would receive an I-512 for travel until your permanent resident status is approved. I'm not entirely sure of the requirements for a such an application, though.
just a thought...remember, it's free, so you get what you pay for (i.e., may or may not be good information).

The requirements is $100+! I'd rather wait than letting INS rip another $100+ off me! LOLz! Originally posted by GbV: Have you considered filing an application for advance parole?
