I used 5 cans of Great Stuff from Home Depot (yellow cap, red body) to spary in the 2 trails underneath of the car and the front sub frame, I can feel the different afterward so I can say those thing work, for $8 a cans, I would recommand this for anyone who want to add tower bars.

get out of here!! can something that simple really work? I'm going to try that on my moms topaz just because it you can hear the car creeking as you drive over road bumps..if it really stiffens the frame then the creeking will stop. I just hope that stuff doesn't hold moisture.

Hey you don't have to get angry..I think its a great idea for the little money it cost. I'm not into making my contour more of a performance car just because I spend 95% of my time in that car stuck in 5km/h traffic. I drive the topaz a lot as well and the flexing frame causes the dashboard to creek and groan and if the radio in that car worked it probably wouldn't bother me as much. So when a fellow contourian takes the initiative and risk of trying something new I appreciate it when they share it with everyone, especially when I can benefit from it.

I've used more cans of that stuff around the house than I can remember and have also spent many hours under the topaz trying to figure out how I can nail some 2x4's to the frame to add strength to that rusting Piece sh*t. When I say I can't believe it worked I'm not doubting you I'm just in shock that something so simple and cheap can do the same as those big $$ suspension mods.

I have a cranny developed on the bottom right hand side of the windshield after driving though a pot hole. I don't know if the foam sprarg I did 3 days ago related to this or not, if so, those spary really stiff up my chassis. Man I prove it in a sad way.
Also a side note, my car ride on H&R spring.

I want to know why you start your reply with "Get out of here" and then say you are buying the idea. I am not a native english speaker so may be I misunderstand you.
