Thought I might chime in. The problem is present (prevalent) only on the 2.5 litre Duratec engines. Of course, the SVT only came in this engine so all SVTs (including yours), and cars with this engine (including mine) are affected.
The Zetec 4-banger engine is not affected. Only in rare cases will the waterpump fail in this engine.
