For such a discount on the SVT I got and considering the price I sold it for, I guess I cannot complain much. But if I had not gotten my SVT, I would have my wife's pickup paid off, my RX-7 with full racing exhaust, all new suspension, and new clutch, and another perfectly running college car. That would let me afford something like a Z06 or an M3 now instead of what I got. So, as good as I got it, I would have been better off without the SVT.

I did a lot of research, most from this web site, before I got my SVT. I'd do it again.

I did alot of research on my car, and really had my heart set on it as it was pretty much the best of both worlds in terms of what I wanted in a car. Regardless of ford's dealer service or whatever, I love my car. Dealing with ford is an easily solved problem...take them out of the equation. Only time you see my car at a ford dealer is when it has to be there.

Yes!!!! My 98 Duratech, ATX has given me several problems, and is pulling codes like crazy as I type. But it was the first new car I ever owned and I have enjoyed driving it. I run the heck out of it daily. I have to say that it never left me stranded though.

96 Tour 24 Dura, Yes Yes I would buy another. After searching this site I have replaced an almost new Plastic/Paper water pump with a steel one, and added oil to the bottom of the M in Max full.
I love the car and so does everyone in the family that has driven it.
I purchased it from a pissed off owner who replaced head gaskets etc. His Ford dealer kindly installed a new plastic pump when the head was done.
I put the steel one in so I will not get a repeat performance.
A full load leather, moon roof car for under 5K that handles like a Vette, power of a BMW, and style to boot!!
YES.

Vehicles owned:
96 24Dura Tour = Corner Carver
68 Nova SS = 5.0 & Corvette Stomper
95 Grand Jeep = Grocery Wagon
97 4 Runner = Mountian Climber
At 50 everyone needs more toys!!!
