Saw a sweet looking black SVT with grey/gunmetal rims and red painted calipers. Anyone's? It was driving up 35E at about 130-200pm today.

Hey if you're putting your new engine in yourself PM me I would be glad to provide an extra hand. I've always wanted to learn more about our engines and taking one out and putting a different one back in would be a pretty good learning experience, especially since I don't know too much about any mechanics, but really want to learn.

I'd say the same thing too. I would love to see it done. Unfortunately I don't know too much about swapping an engine my self. Terry Haines is doing all of the prep work on the LS engine in Michigan. Once he's done I'll drive out there and leave my car with him. It probably won't be for a couple months though. He is booked for a while and I need time to gather funds for the labor after draining my car fund on the engine.

True, very true(with the money). I am so broke I don't even have enough money to take my girl out to dinner(or even McDonalds).

But hey it's smart to leave your car with someone who cares(I mean who knows).

When it's all said and done we should have a little get together so you can kick the crap out of all our cars. Do you know anyone else in MN who has done the 3.0 treatment? I was kinda hoping my engine went when I blew the wp (then I could justify getting the 3.0) Unfortunately it didn't happen. Anyway I've seen people talkign about hanging around midway. Is that the hotspot for the tour people or just us "motorheads" in general? I know in the summer that place is packed with all sorts of sweet(and not so sweet) cars. Otherwise I'm getting the indiglo gauges this summer and will attempt to put them in, some help would be desirable and probably needed.
