I worked for Ford in the musclecar hayday. Plenty of Boss 302's, 351 and 429's plus all the CobraJet motored cars passed through our service department at one time or another. Fun stuff. Ford made great pushrod motors. If you compare Ford to GM, engine type to engine type, it's only when you get to the V8 that the comparison ends. Both manufacturers make OHC 4's and 6's. It's just that they aren't installed in every car line.
