You do not even need any mods. I won a race against a 2000 convertable V-6 mustang . Those 1994 to present mustangs are slow. Even a stock 4.6 is a dog ......

I usually don?t get involved with all the Stang haters on this board; I do my talking at the strip. I had to respond to this thread because you are a fool. If a 13.985 is a dog, call me a dog. As far as beating a heavy AT vert puss-tang (V6)... Congrats! btw... I'm stock

Plenty of Boss 302's, 351 and 429's plus all the CobraJet motored cars passed through our service department at one time or another. Fun stuff. Ford made great pushrod motors. If you compare Ford to GM, engine type to engine type, it's only when you get to the V8 that the comparison ends. Both manufacturers make OHC 4's and 6's. It's just that they aren't installed in every car line. Karl

short of a turbo, super or nitrous, theres not much that will raise your power that high. But turbo, you could do it, especially with 50 hp Shot. Btw, ford made a few good pushrods. my bad. but gm's LS6 is the best pushrod engine EVER (Normally Asperated that is)
