SO I am heading home from work. It is 1:00 am and I just did an 8 hour shift on my day off! I was not happy to begin with. Then I see this cop sitting on the opposite side of the road. I wasn't worried as I was doing nothing wrong. He pulls out and race up behind me, he follows me to 169 North and at the end of the enterance ramp he puts on his lights. I pull over and wait for him to come up to the car.
He finally gets out and comes to my window. He say the traditional line "Do you know why I pulled you over tonight?" I was like "no" Get this.......
A BURNT OUT LICENSE PLATE BULB!!!!!!!!
Of all the B.S. Reasons he could have come up with that was the best he could do? So now I was boiling mad but kept my cool with him. Of course he took his sweet time running my license. He comes back after like 10 mins. and says "I am just going to give you a verbal warning, have a good night." I was so pissed I wanted to yell at him about how I could have been at home and getting in bed by now so that I can get my 6 hours of sleep to turn around and come back to work on Sat. for a 10 hour shift where I will be loading T.V.'s and getting yelled at by angry customers all day. But I just took my licenese and drove off.
Needless to say I am really pissed off right now. Glad I didn't get a ticket, but it was just a waste of my time.
