I'm curious, now, about the course for our drive. It seems to me that the idea of open country roads is great, especially those nice Wisconsin State roads (gotta get that milk to market, ya know). Could we make the journey to Menomonie a significant experience (I mean, not 75 miles on I-94). I might suggest an approach from the St. Croix Valley out of Hastings east and north from there. Should be some nice roads between here and there. Anyone got a map? I've got an infallable sense of direction should we get lost.
