I was thinking it's high time we tried to organize a get together before winter comes. Anybody have any thoughts of a good time to set one up, and what you may be interested in doing (dyno? (tame)fun run? others?)

Let me know what your ideas are on this.

I'd be up for a meet... Apparently there is some sort of open track time every Thursday night, 4:30-9:00 PM at the Anoka County Technical school.... That might be a good time. I haven't tried it yet, but with a bunch of other contiques, I might be persuaded to go.

I was looking at a Saturday, preferably to try to hold the meet, as I work until 7:00 during the week. I was thinking maybe October 21st (preferably) or October 28th. Let me know what days work, and what you'd all be interested in doing.

If someone else would like to organize a get together at Anoka County, they're more than welcome to. I just wouldn't be able to be there long enough to be the one.

I'd love to do a track event during a weekend, if one is available.

I work 3-11 pm so I can't make the Anoka stuff but would be glad to do a fun run. Maybe we can find a place to do a few dyno pulls. I would love to get an idea of what I have.If needed I can try to find a place.Let me know. Atrack event would be great if I only knew someplace other than Brainerd.

We're definitely working on getting this set up, I have one guy thinking of a fun run in the SW metro, and another thinking Memomonie, WI area. Will post fun run ideas for voting.

I have a couple leads on a dyno, and will be trying to get that set up next week, when I get a better idea of how many cars may be interested.

I am trying to set this up for the 21st, so anybody who's interested, let me know. My e-mail is svtcarboy@yahoo.com

I welcome all suggestions and help as well!

Thank You,
James.

I'm still working on getting the fun run details, and I'm looking to see how many may be interested in taking their car to a dyno. I heard of a place that charges about $60 an hour, but if enough interest is garnered I will then set up an appointment and get more details.

I am setting the date formally for the 21st, as it seems to work best for the people that have stated interest so far.

Please e-mail me at svtcarboy@yahoo.com by Friday to see how many would be interested in coming and to see if we should do the dyno or cencentrate on other events.

Looks like we're dropping the dyno, due to lack of interest, and nobody is willing to do one w/o a headcount. Anyway, this is what I have tentatively planned, though some times may still change. I'll know more by Monday.

I was going to do a vote on the fun run, but I only received one candidate, so that's we're working with.

10:00 to 12:00: Meet and Greet at Southpoint Office Center 1700 W 82nd Street, Bloomington. (This is just south of 494 of 35W. Will have detailed directions later, when I know which entrance we have to use.)

12:00: Lunch. There a several restaurants in the area, and we can decide on the day.

After Lunch: Drive to Menomonie, WI, with a fun run in the surrounding countryside. Good roads, good cars, and beautiful fall color.

I'm hoping to see y'all there. If you're planning on coming, please e-mail me at svtcarboy@yahoo.com, so I have an idea of how many are interested.
