After getting back from the National a couple of weeks ago, I thought it might be fun to try to get a litle something going here every so often. That was the first time I ever attended such a gathering and Dallas (check out their branch) has a more lively chapter than we have had. It seems as if there is not as much interest in the Houston chapter. I would want to do something more than hang out at a mall parking lot. The saturday night event at the National was at a burger and beer drive-in, Kellers. The place looked like a dive but it was fun. All kinds of people were there showing off all kinds of cars, 30 of them Contours, most of them SVT's. Check out some of the pics people have posted from the National. There is that drag strip in Baytown, any ideas?
