The track is open Friday night 5 pm, Saturday morning 9:30 am, and Sunday night 4:30pm if anyone is interested in going. I am thinking I may go on Saturday so I don't have to rush down there on Friday evening or get home late on Sunday night.

hey man congrats on the run, let me know when your going again and I'll try and make it. BTW, it would be awesome to see you hit the 14.2 mark. What do you think it's going to take, or do you even think thats possible? Once again congrats.

I do believe that it is possible to run low 14's but everthing is going to have to be just about perfect, this includes my driving, track conditions, and how well the car is running. I did a few calculations and I was using 179 horsepower to run the 14.5's and the car makes roughly 185 so I may have to find a way to make a few more HP or figure out how to take a little weight out of the car. All that said I am determined to get it to run that fast so I guess we will see what it takes soon enough.

What are your 1/4 mi times? Bone stock I can't get mine any faster than 15.6sec....but then again i'm runnin on street radials. How are you gonna get to low 14's with only 184hp? Sounds impossible. You racin at FFW in May? There are about 12 of us from the SVT Ford and Performance club of North Texas that are racing at FFW.

I ran a best of 14.53@94.15 on Saturday at HRP with a best of 2.06 60', it only takes about 179 hp to run that et & speed in my car at 3170 with me in the drivers seat. I have a little tuning left to do that I think will get me at least into the 14.30-14.35 range and if I hadn't bogged the motor on Saturday I think I could have gone a little faster. I doubt that I will do FFW because it is to expensive, I can run any Friday or Sunday night down here for $15 or $20 on Saturday. I may meet you guys at Ennis next time you go if you post it a little ahead of time. To get it to run this fast you have to be pretty hard on the car, and you can't slip the clutch or spin the tires or your time will go way up. My last run I spun through first gear and ended up only running 15.01@93.38.

Where are you running? Ennis? I ran a 15.3 bone stock at HRP. My best is 15.1 with intake/exhaust only (and 17" rims).

CB, obviously, i'm not making it tonight, and it's really doubtful for this weekend. I know i definitely will go before the heat gets here, but with my new job i had quite a few unexpected expenses come up (body armor, etc. )

Congrats on the new job Erick just be careful and watch out for the crazy kids on campus. I am going to the track early tomorrow morning (2/16) to try and tune my Pro-M with my new optimizer. Hopefully it will help me to get a little quicker times. Let me know whenever you are ready to go again and if possible I will be there. I am starting a new job on Monday so I wont have nearly so much free time, oh well I guess a seven month vacation was long enough.

i live like 30 min from HRP has this meet already happened? i'd really like to see some SVT tours run

Yes. Look at the dates (Feb 12). But i go whenever i can, as does CB99SVT. We post when we go, and the next time either of us go, we'll post and maybe we can hook up.
