I'm in town visiting my family for the holidays and wondering if anytime soon while I am in town is there going to be a meeting? It doesnt have to be anything in particular, just so long as I can have a break from the folks.

Im game, let me know when is a good time to break from your family. Seems not a lot of people are checking this area out because of the time of year but lets see if anyone else replies.

How long are you going to be in town? 1314 and I have been talking about meeting at the track in Baytown, but they won't open until 1/4/02 or 1/6/02.

I'm leaving around the 8th of Jan. Lets set it up!

Sorry i haven't checked here in a couple days. Anyway, the 4th or 6th of January sounds pretty good. I don't have anything planned for that weekend and i'm sure the wife won't mind. Cost is 15 bucks to run and 8 to watch (something like that), but it's not as much fun to watch as it is to run. Sundays are usually a little less crowded, which means more runs.

Sunday would be fine for me. The track opens the gates at 4 pm and the lanes are open from 5 pm until 10 pm. Hopefully the weather will be decent so we can get a few runs in.

Well I'm new to this meeting and stuff so just let me know what when where and how much! Sunday sounds good here too!

Damn, I'm probably the only one that will have a car all stock mecanically! Oh well, I just got it in Oct so it isnt too bad...Wait until the summer!

Are any of you guys still down for the track this Sunday?

As long as the weather is OK, i'll be there with a couple of friends (red Z24, silver ZX2, and gold Accord, along with a few other people). We can all meet up there, or if someone doesn't know the way, we can meet up before hand. I live in South Houston (near Pasadena) and my friends are coming from the UH Central area, so let me know.

Sunday, probably around 5, cost is 15 bones to race. It'll be cool since we'll have a few other rides to run.
