I finally got through my panic mode, and slowly worked my way through taking the TB off and cleaning it. Its like driving a whole new car....it pulls SO much harder and is much more responsive even with my semi stock airbox! it took me 3 hours to do and i'm idiot...so imagine what you could do with it! heres the pics i told you about...fist two are before, last one is after.
these pics bring back bad memories but the results are well worth it http://www.pbase.com/teknocracy/throttle_body_cleaning FYI, i used half a bottle of STB carb spray on the TB (off the UIM sitting ontop of towels on battery), and another 1/4 of that bottle on the opening in the upper intake manifold. the upper intake was brown just as at the edges...so i didn't warrant any need to take it off...
