KartZone yet? I went for the second time this evening. The first time I went was on the third day the place was open, and the best I could manage on the glass-smooth track was 27.22 seconds. Tonight, with much more rubber on the track (and a broken-in motor???), I managed a 24.615, and I'm sure I left at least a couple of tenths out on the track.
I tell you, this was a ton of fun... I decided to swing by there after work, and just happened to walk in just behind a group of six guys who didn't mind me racing with them. I qualified second, but my first two race laps were lackluster and the 3rd qualifier passed me. I finally started paying attention when 4th place started pounding on my rear bumper...
Any other KartZone experiences out there? Anyone rabid enough to plunk down $350 to join a league? (Not I!) I'm thinking I can justify a visit or two per month, but this is a pricey hobby...
