without a doubt! I had a 99 Zetec and put 61,000 miles on it with honestly, no problems AT ALL. Not a single one besides recalls. Bought a 99 SVT 3 months ago and have loved every second of it. My brothers 96 SE has 110,000 and he had some problems with the A/C and thats really been it. My mom has a 99 SE sport with 52,000 and no major problems. These cars have all been great too us and none of us have regretted out purchases one bit...and would do it again if we had to. -neal

At the time, the Contour was the best bang for the bucks that I had. I could only afford a GL. Loaded GL, though.
I really haven't had any problems with the car except the moonroof motor, and an occasional self inflicted.
I guess I got luck with my build quality.

Yes, I would. My 'tour has been a blast to drive, and while I wish it had been more trouble free, and I *really* wish that Ford service didn't suck so badly, I'd still buy it again. But of course, Ford has seen fit to make that impossible, since they decided SUV's make more money for them.
I've got over 105K miles on my 'tour and it's still more fun to drive than most any new car out there that's under $30K.

Antonio isn't this your 2nd one? Yeah, it is my second one, but that M3 I was going get had to be turned down. The insurance was way to damn high(700+). So I had to go with want I know.. Even though I knew that I was getting into a hole... Again. Antonio

If I knew I was going to meet such awesome people that are part of the CEG, I'd get one just because of that.
Otherwise, I'd go w/ either a fox Cobra or '94-'95 Cobra.
That was my original plan anyway, but couldn't swing the insurance at the time.

Sorry, but no I would not. Not after $5500 in repairs the last 2 years!
Yes, my car is fun to drive, I like the looks, lots of bang for the buck, BUT that is a lot of bucks I've had to shell out.
