My service problem??? Well that's a huge story, but just to cut to the chase, Texan Ford had my car in service for 30+ days for a noise that developed in the right front after the car slid into a curb in the rain. They alleged changed lots of parts and then had an engineer from Ford in Detroit here to work on it. Ultimately, I was told that there was nothing they could do and Ford and Texan Ford wanted nothing more to do with my car. They told me to file a claim in my insurance and have it totaled. Well State Farm didn't see it that way as the car is still driveable. Well part of the problem was that when the car was in the body shop at Texan they replaced the front bumper and didn't replace a screw. So at high speeds that loose piece made lots of noise.
All of the noise is not gone and State Farm recommended I take it somewhere else as Texan Ford no longer wanted to work on it. Texan did tell me at some point that they checked the transmission, however, the car is at a transmission shop right now because Tripp's Auto Tech in Katy recommended that type of service.
I'll keep ya'll informed.
