much closer todallasthough.. i grew up in Desoto..will prolly move to the southern outskirts- as Desoto has just gone down the drain in the past 6 yrs.
(all assuming I get the job of course- I have a very positive outlook, they have had over 4 people nowthat they got rid of- no experience, I have experience and love crawling in small spaces...plus the whole spying on people thing)

Good luck man...that's much closer to Dallas, but you may not want to live there. I have a buddy that lives in Waxahachie and likes it there.

ah, like i said, it has really gone down hill since i moved away- it was really nice back when iwas in high school. thinking about red oak - maybe waxahachie. (possibly even ennis)

Good luck Ed. Grand Prairie isn't bad either and it's not that far. I'm lookin for a better job myself but the market still sucks a$$.

On a happy note: I think I got the job, had my first interview today and go in for the second in the morning. The first interviewer said I will be interviewing with the owner and that He should offer me a position tomorrow. Yeah yippee
Edit: Went in for second interview today, he appeared impressed...I felt good about it- I have to call in tomorrow to see if he is ready to make me an offer!

Yeah, he asked why I haven't gone to any of the big security companies with what I know..I was totally honest and told him that I don't have a degree and that the other companies required one. I explained that after visisting with the techs at the other companies I was not impressed. (they were unorganized, bad response times, never had their supplies) I finally got over my little complex I had about people not wanting to hire me for lack of experience; I shot a little higher than I usually do, was confident and honest, and hopefully will get a decent offer tomorrow!!
