Yes thanks for putting on a great weekend. I wish Lori would have brought the kids down. Seems her fear of DFW weather was unfounded as it was milder there than in STL.

Thanks to Mushu and Chris for a great weekend.

Just wanted to chime in and say it was great meeting everyone. I DO want to appologize for not making all the events. The few things I did with the club was done with money out of my OWN pocket. If any of you know anyone looking for a 98 SVT, mine is offically on the market. Can't afford it right now with my current job situation. Sux though cause I have REALLY loved my car. Anyway, I will still be around on the board and at the local meets whenever possible. Look forward to seeing all of you again sometime.

That too is a public place

We had a private room so, no you could not crash the party.

If you hadn't said anything in front of everyone fri at the hotel lobby, everything woulda been cool.

No it would not have been.

I figured you of all people would understand my present situation.

Your present situation was no money, right? But, you had money to buy drinks & pay for parking at reunion tower, race cars at Malibu (even though you didn't buy the $30 ticket), race you car at Ennis, & you even had enough to pay to get in to Keller's.

I came to help support my CEG bretheren. I figured if I didn't show up, it would look as if I was too good for everyone. My appologies to everyone that reads this but when someone won't reply to my messages elsewhere, i have no choice

Neither Chris nor myself have gotten any messages from you. No PM's, email, phone calls.
Go cry me a river! If you had even bothered to ask in advance we could have come up with something. Hey how about this. If you had helped liked you promised to you wouldn't have had to pay.
We worked our butt's off putting it together. How dare you complain. Let me ask you this. How fair was it to everyone who actually registered that you tried to freeload the whole weekend.? Personally I think they might be a little pissed off. What makes you sooooooo special? You don't have a job? Well neither do Chris or Ed but you don't hear them using it as an excuse. This just shows the kind of man you really are Clay.

mad

Kelly, I am glad you did see this before me. Kinda upsetting Clay, thats all I can say. The DFW CEG group has been great, I have been having a blast with everyone and become so frustrated when I cannot make it to get togethers, but it happens. I don't know if you or anyone else has noticed this or not Clay but d@mn near every one of your posts are negative. There is the occasional positive one, like the one you left about my job situation(which I do appreciate), but every other post is Clay *****ing about how everyone hates and avoids him...and now this. Clay, you "bragged" the whole weekend about how you were not going to pay registration for a stupid hat, you were not going to pay because you were going to be out of town, blah, blah, blah. Jeeze, when I planned the Memorial day thing out here you messaged me a week prior to it telling me you were going to post for everyone to go somewhere else. I haven't even mentioned all the times i have seen you mix up plans that were previously made by fellow CEG'ers to do what you want to do, go where you want to go. Guys I am sorry you all have to read this too but in the three months I have been here it has been the one drawback to all the fun I have been having. Guess this post just really hit a nerve. Clay I know you love your car. I know you are an enthusiast, when you aren't *****ing and making excuses you are actually a decent person, GROW UP!!!

Like i said, I am sorry everyone else has to put up with this, sucks to have to say that, It shouldn't have even been a problem in the first place. I know everyone doesn't like me, Never expected everyone too, I just had to put my .02 in like I said above...this whole thing just makes me sick- hell I am happy to be at the low financial level my family and I are at yet own such a kewl car and have such kewl friends.

Kelly, I DID send you and Chris messages. I would LOVED to have helped but when I posted on here, nobody replied. I said word for word, "I don't have the money to register but would be more than happy to help out all weekend." I was with the group in the beginning when we started planning it but unfortunately, I was unable to make most of the planning meetings due to circumstances beyone my control. Hell, I love you guys to death. A little upset with a few things...but other than that....anyway. For whatever it's worth, I'm sorry. Sorry I couldn't afford the registration fee and be able to do all the other stuff. Like I told Kristen, I didn't get anything free like everyone else did. I didn't expect to get any special treatment. Even if you or someone else would have offered to pay my fee, I wouldn't have accepted it. I came out Thurs night to meet those that came in early. I even left early to help some of the out of towners out. Ya, I did come to the two events fri. Once again, I didn't get anything without paying for it. I spent my own money as well. I wasn't gonna go sat cause I had other obligations to attend to that were not expected. The only reason I came to Kellers, and i made sure not to hang out with the CEG too much since I hadn't paid, was because some friends of mine wanted to go to see all the cars I had been talkin bout comin in from all over the states....WHICH they said was the coolest thing they ever saw. As for Steve the Zaino guy not showing up, nobody acknowledged my post on here when I asked that somebody call me and let me know what the schedule was. I wish my computer had been up and working so that I could have had time to look for the schedule but unfortunately no such luck. I even went as far as going to Kristen's house but, lol, I didn't know she had moved. And sunday, I wasn't gonna go to the autocross and intrude as well. I tried being nice and polite that weekend. And once again Chris, I was more than happy to let you borrow those pants so that you could race. It was cool seeing the LS run a few times!!

I did not brag the whole weekend about how i was not gonna pay registration for a stupid hat. I don't know where that came from. Ya, I made a joke but that's just what it was ....a joke. As far as me being out of town...yes, I was suppose to be in Cali but my plans fell through again. The only reason I tried to plan somethin else for Memorial Day is because one day you said it was cancelled and then it was on and then off. I was merely offering another avenue for people to have something to do in case they couldn't or didn't want to go to Cedar Creek. Yes, I have put in my suggestions as far as meet locations and times....so has Josh and nobody complained when he did. I didn't think it would be a big deal. Some of my sarcastic attempts at humor in the past haven't come across as planned and I made SURE afterwards when someone took offense that I made it clear I was not tryin to hit below the belt. NEVER EVER EVER has that been my intention.

Chris and Kelly, ya'll should have said something to me privately and voiced you problems with me instead of in front of everyone else. That is the only reason I am on the defensive and I am sorry. I just got my computer up and runnin so that is why I have not posted on here before now.

Ed, I dont know anyone in the group that doesn't like you so don't think that! I am glad you are happy in your situation. But this is just a WHOLE new ballgame for me. I am not use to having to scrounge around to make ends meet. I'm not saying ya'll are. I dont know...nor do I want to because it's not my business. I am not saying I have had it easy either. I've always been just about at that comfortable level and I guess I'm still getting adjusted to where I am now. Bouncing around from job to job surely isn't helping my stay positive either.

Anyway, my appologies to you to...and to everyone else.

And also...hats off to Chris and Kelly for pulling off what seemed a 1st class event. Next year, God willing, I will be there for the long haul. But, should I not be welcome...well...I dug my own grave on this one and have nobody to blame but myself.

Thanks again to everyone else that helped put on such a wonderful event.

Till National Meet 2003..............
