Texas is really cool. You should like it. Infact we are more than willing to trade places with you.
I'm not going to lie, it does get hot but you do get used to it. Plus I'm sure a little heat might be nice considering where you are coming from. If you want to do a "fact-finding" mission I say come to the National Meet we are having. Dandridge is right we do have alot of car people here and the Dallas group is a really cool & very close. You will fit in nicely.
