Hey Chris and Kelly, can you guys keep us informed from time to time how many people have registered for the National Meet? If you could, just post it every so often.

Sure can! So far 2. We announced last night. Wanna be #3? smile What do you think of the line up? Only tell us that you love, love, love it please. wink
The hotel is awesome for a La Quinta, however I did not see a Denny's next door and that concerns me. What do you think?

Later!

Lineup sounds good...I'd love to be #3, I just have to figure out a way to get the money to Chris. Seeing as we all live in the same city, I should be able to pull that off.

We are going to need people to help with the events. Also, if anybody has any connections to car stuff vendors, we could use some sponsors with door prizes and raffle stuff.

I want to help out any way I can, I just didn't get to any of the meets where details were discussed. Did we already get some t-shirts ordered? Or do we want to? I can do that for sure!

Yes ITA about the Denny's thing and that's my concern. The good news for the people coming in is there is a grocery store about a block away and breakfast is free at the hotel.
Don't worry Dandridge we know your good for the $. We already "reserved you a space" laugh All you guys are "penciled in" in fact if you don't come... you need to find another branch to join! smile
We will be needing help from you guys/girls during the event. We need to raise $ to offset the cost of the autocross so we will be selling sodas & water at various events & Josh has graciously volunteered himself for our "dunk-a-troll" dunking booth! eek Thanks again Josh!
We are getting quotes on shirts so we are set there. One thing we need is to find a good/not too expensive Mexican restaurant around the 75/ Northwest Highway Area. It will need to have a decent size parking lot and be able to host everyone for the banquet lunch. We know everyone may not love this a 100% but what we decided was fajitas for the lunch. Beef, chicken, & veggie. Its the safest route to go when you have this many people expected to come.
Please feel free to invite any of your friends/spouses/girl or boyfriends. The more the merrier. They can even help us! smile
We also still need sponsors (talk to Chris about that) and people to donate items for a raffle to raise even more $ for that expensive (minimum 2k) autocross. The more $ we raise the cheaper we can make it for everyone. Chris is donating a his services for a set of headlights & rac02699 is hitting his buddy up for some kind of stereo type donation. So please ask your friends, family, or if you can do something your self please donate it to us its a good cause. If you can not make it to the next meet do not worry we will fill you in. However we would really like everyone and we mean everyone (even the ones who do not or rarely post) to come out to Keller's next Saturday.

Thank you guys & girls for all your interest & support. We know we could not do this with out you.

Chris & Kelly

ahy hve you guys checked in to an El Fenix in that area? I know they ususally have a large parking lot and the food is decent for a decent price. The only prob I can see is that the luncheon is on that Saturday (big day for any restaraunt. Have you looked into having someone cater the luncheon at a park/rec center or Hotel? May work out better that way- or maybe not. The only thing I would be able to get caterred would be BBQ . )% O-well- i am still checking on the dunking booth- I found a company out here that will rent one for 150- they'll bring it to us, wherever we want it, and set it up and fill it for us. I am going to check the local fire departments for one and see if we could get one for a small donation to the fire department. You guys might check it out with the FDs in that area too.
