Okay, I know there are plenty of you out there, in this area, that need new plugs, wires, air filters, and upper intake manifold/throttle body cleaning.

Here is what I propose:

-Get a few sets of parts (plugs, wires, etc...)
-Get some food/beverages
-Have someone host the session on a Saturday. This would need to be a house with a garage/driveway.

Anyone that has their car done, works on the other cars. I bet we could bust out 4-5 cars in a few hours if we have a few people turning wrenches.

I am thinking March 3 would be a good day. The weather is starting to look great. Anybody and everybody would be welcome. If the "lil_svt" house hosts it, I don't see any harm in giving her car a tuneup would do. Hell, we could even change plugs/wires on that VW smile

If you have a Contour older than a 2000, I HIGHLY recommend getting new plugs and wires. Also, it would be very beneficial to clean that upper intake manifold and throttle body. Very noticable at Ennis (Clay smile )

Let me know what you guys think. I know my car needs it.

Sounds like an excellent idea, but I'm pretty sure I'll be out of town that weekend.

Yes, taking it off is the best way to clean everything. Especially the secondaries. I KNOW Kristen needs this treatment. She needs to get some respect for her car. smile
