I don't know how far you are willing to go but I had good experience with Family Tire and Service in Grapevine. They are at the intersection of Northwest Highway and Dove Road. I had them do some work on my car when I was down there for the summer (new clutch and turn the rotors) and they seemed to do a pretty good business. If you call them, ask for Scott. Tell him Dan sent you. He's the owner/chief mechanic. Stand up guy, will let you know exactly what is going on and will even let you watch in the bay while they are working on it (something that I have found rare these days).
