I'm pretty sure I'm going but I dont have my contour. The body shop decided they wanted to keep screwing it up and fixing it for a couple weeks.

The BEST Compact... goes to a 1977 Mercury Comet that has a dirty motor and its completely stock.. Nothing spectacular at all...YES I'M pissed! We need to show ford that the SVT Contours still need a space for acknowledgment....

I looked over the whole place and found 1 thing that said SVT Contour and it was a guys polo shirt... HEll they even have a damn Focus class for racing.. What in the world happened to us SVT Contours... They say its just such a rare car...

WE AS CONTOUR OWNERS need to get together and show FORD there are a lot of contours out there.. we need a lil respect...

Yes, its sad that the Focus gets more attention that the SVT 'tour. Thats why I quit going to Ford GTG. There is no respect among SVT people for the contour around here. I have NO clue why... So much the rare car huh...bte, I have seen yours around Irving Claudette. You will probably see my POS around here soon since we are moving there next week!

You movin to Irving Lil? You'll be closer to the "Real" SVT's!! Hehehehe Anyway.....I am DEFINATELY game for FFW in Houston. I think we all need to make plans to go as SOON as we find out the date. If we can all go and make a big showing of contours....that might help us get some recognition on our cars. Who knows....if we have a decent turn out....we could quite possible get a spot in a magazine....who knows...cause...since they say our car is so rare....if we have a lot of "rare" cars there, that would DEFINATELY catch their attention. I will start lookin into the FFW thing tomorrow. I'll call as many people as I need to try to get a little more recognition for our cars....how much luck I will have.....I dunno. By the way. I don't SUCK as you say. No one in the group does. Maybe if you would show up you might know that. Are Saturday nights not good for you? You always complained Sunday mornings were bad for you. What gives? What's your work schedule like? Maybe we can work around it.
