the best way to describe what he is talking about is when you open your moonroof you hold down the switch until the moonroof stops opening (this would be the full open position you would think) but if you let go of the switch and press it down again (the same way) it will go back about another 1/2 inch or so.

sort of like when you close it you hold the switch until it closes and then if you let go and press again it will open up the other way except this is opening more the same way.

as for the question laugh I think everyboduys does it (mine does) and I dont think anybody ever figured out if it was good or bad to do it (some people said it had something to do with wind noise I think and other people said dont do it because it will kill your moonroof motor.
