Why am I the only one in Illinois CEG with a '97??
Is there something I should about 1997 Tours?

the 97 tour is one that there were the least made of all years of tours cause the shut down production early for retooling for the new body style in 98. mine was less than a month shy of being a 97.

I had a '97 GL/Zetec and felt the same way, like it was special. I got it in Sept 97 and it had 11K miles on it already. The easiest way to point out a '97 is the manual gas filler door. (It has a thumb holder) 
2000 SE fleet, V6, ATX, ABS, no spoiler, T-Green/tan. Built 01/2000 in MO.
Added 12 spoke factory SE rims, K&N. Biggest mod: ESP Plan!

which frankly i prefer. my '96 had a auto gas cap that kept not working so i always had to pop the trnk to fill the tank.

I wish my gas door had a button or a lever so I wouldn't be scared of ricers puting **** in the tank.
