The glove box lock is very easy to install also...just need to get a key made for it. ....Perhaps you didn't understand my question.
Was it ignition key that fit glove box lock or a separate key? If you only get old lock how can you get key cut to open it? Alternately can lock be set to work from your existing ignition key?
$2 junk yard lock requiring $75+ locksmith charges not an interesting re-contenting option to pursue, IMO.
