how hard is that to change?

it isnt hard at all if you take the time to remove everything surrounding it. joe and i took out the battery and a lot of the coolant hoses surrounding the waterpump. the total uninstall/install time was about an hour. joe is the man when it comes to repairing these cars. it might be because he has upgraded everything in his engine bay. dude! 98svt lets get together this weekend! i will be in rockford on saturday morning.

Are year 2000 water pumps still the junky ones?
BTW: Hector's car is a half sec faster than stock, which isn't too bad.
2000 SE fleet, V6, ATX, ABS, no spoiler, T-Green/tan. Built 01/2000 in MO. Added 12 spoke factory SE rims, K&N. Biggest mod: ESP Plan!
