Also, I will keep an eye for all Ford shows at local dealers. Last year we went to Victor Ford and Landmark Ford.

The show at Landmark is:

Sunday August 11, 2002 - Rain or Shine
9 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Landmark Ford
6200 W. Touhy Ave.
Niles, IL

That is where all the cars go when they kicked out of McDonald's on Irving Park and Barrington. Well that is at 12am. When is this show?

The show will be during the day and will have trophies and probably a radio station there playing music. I'll know more after the club meeting this Sunday.

just some thoughts on what might be useful to newbies........
1. a link to cceg members list. i am new around here and have been looking for ceg'rs in my area. a membership list would help. there might already be a post but there are like 35 pages of stuff to sift thru here.
2. a members mod spreadsheet. including part #s, pricing info, manufacture crap, etc.. something simalr to http://duratecperformance.com/cgi-bin/Rate/nph-list.cgi but a little more tailored for our demographic.
3. listings page for upcoming events, basic cruise nites, goings on, etc.. instead of having to read all these posts to find where & what everyone is doing just click on the "CCEG Events" link.
4. i liked the idea of the membership cards but who really pulls out their wallet and shows these things?? what about "CCEG" membership stickers for our cars instead?

i don't know how custom we can make the Chicago section of CEG Forums, but if there is some playing room we could design this real sweet and set the standard for the other branches to strive for.

just some thoughts.

1. In the main website, there is a profile forum that can be sorted by state.
2. Mods are in profiles also, but is again voluntary.
3. Stickers are available, see main site.

right, right. i knew a lot of that. i thought that the stickers were only CEG not CCEG though.
yes mods are voluntary. some mods are repetative and a mod listing with part #s, etc... would be helpful IMO. i don't know, i just thought that linked information would not only help out the new guys but set us apart on this forum.
anyway.. thanks for the reply.
