English Language Police basic lesson:

quick= time/acceleration. ex: Do something in a given amount of time. 1/4 mile et, 14.0@

fast= speed/velocity. ex: The velocity which something is done. 1/4 mile trap speed, @98.0

They are relative but not the same. Nor is quick a lesser degree of fast. Saying an car is quick but not fast doesn't really make sense. That's saying it accelerates a certain way but can't reach a certain speed?

When someone asks how fast your car is, a response like 15.4 or 6.7 is not a correct answer. 15.4 is how quick your car is...

Ok, I'm a picky bass-turd. Sorry.
