THIS Bytch was pulling out of a parking alot, by dominicks on forest preserve. i was in the left lane going about 37ish speed limit 35, this is in noridge so i dont speed. he pulls out didnt even look, talking on her cell phone. i dunno what happin its like i sensed something and started braking early for some reason. she pulls out and stops in the center most lane on my side. checking for traffic from the other side, im there braking squeaking tires, after i stop like 2-4 feet away from her car she f'ckn smiles, that b'tch. in that geo tracker, smiled at me. and continued on rambling on her phone.

thank god the street wasnt yet wet because if it was i would have plowed her ass.

luckically for some strang reason i sensed something and started braking early, if i hadnt i would have wrecked my tour, really badly.

now if i hit her whos fault would it have been, i was driving in the center most lane, and she pulls out talking on her cell phone. and stops there, as im braking like a mad man. and what pissed me off most is that she looked at me and smiled.

no matter what it would have been her fault. The reason is because talking on your cell phone while not using hands free is illegal in IL

people suck... i hate when people do that. someday i'm just not going to brake and slam into the person. my other two cars don't have airbags, so maybe one of them... and then i'll collect the benjamins baby!

Actaully, the cell phone law hasn't been passed in IL yet.

But, no excuse for bad driving. She probably had no clue that you almost hit her.

it just started snowing, if it were snowing more then i would have slammed into her. im still angry by the fact she smiled like nothing happin.

When I lived in near Austin and Irving, I hated driving around there. Either had super slow or hyper fast drivers.



Irving Park is still too narrow west of Austin and the lights are uncoordinated. Also, too many left turners blocking traffic.

Walter -- that's a part of driving. I've kinda figured out that getting pissed about it doesn't fix anything. If you don't like it, don't drive! :p There's risks in everything.

i know there are risks but how are you gonna smile after you almost caused a accident. that could have been fatal. a 40mph isnt exactlly a slow speed, i always show some sign of apology if i make a error while driving and not smile.

it's worse when people do something like that and have no remorse. wave your hand or at least look sympathic. like you're supposed to slam on your brakes because some ditz with a cell phone glued to her head isn't paying attention like it's no big deal. I would have stopped an inch from her fender and just laid on the horn while giving her the finger. you should have gotten her license plate number and reported her too. claimed she bald-spotted your tires or warped your rotors. well, i guess in the city cops really wouldn't do anything-- but in the suburbs they just might.

i see huge semi-trucks pull out in front of people all the time. they're thinking, what sane person is going to challenge a semi? and (rambling now...) how come the more expensive or larger the car/truck is, the use of turn signals and common courtesy lessens in a corresponding manner???
