At least not yet. Its just that the whole clutch/flywheel wheighs less and has less parasitic loss than a torque converter when bolted to a small motor. ron, in no way was i saying "a tiny motor with a stick is the best you can get!" I totally agree with the ol' saying, there is no replacement! BTW: The 500 will make our cars look like Tempos. Also, I'm waiting to see if the Mondeo also is brought over as a Mercury. When the new Ford cars come, I plan to move on. 2000 SE fleet, V6, ATX, ABS, no spoiler, T-Green/tan. Built 01/2000 in MO. Added 12 spoke factory SE rims, K&N. Biggest mod: ESP Plan!
