OP SVT@TTU Member S Joined: Nov 2001 Posts: 67 Lubbock	It was a flash flood in lubbock, tx. The street was passable and when I was going at it a surge of water got me and before I knew it the water was up to the windows outside and inside up to the seats. When the car started to move sideways I freaked and got out and moved as quickly to higher ground. It is covered under the insurance but still, I lost my baby tonight. As far as I can tell it was a total loss. Sigh Mario 2000 SVT died @ 26K miles HUNTER 2000 Contour SVT -Green #851 of 2150 DRL Mod 35% tint Auto-dimming mirror (temp,cmp)

Probably because it was standing water. :rolleyes: The only damage I got was some wet carpet and I ripped off the air deflector thingy that goes under the bumper to the subframe. I paniced and hit the gas when I found how deep it was. Of couse there was no chance of me being washed away into the great nothing either.
