where are the circuit tracks where you can take your car to and race it around here? I mean the good ones.

I really dont know if any. Im sure someone does just give them a while to respond. If anyone will know it would be Mark or joe :p

The only place I know of is in Elkhart Lake, WI where one can drive on a road course.

Other tracks closer to Chicagoland for street cars are drag strips.

What about Blackhawk Farms, isn't that close. I really really want to go race my contour on a street coarse but I want another contour to represent with me and I don't know where to go also.

i've personally been to Gingerman Raceway in South Heaven (or new heaven i forget) Michigan, its around 2-2.5 hours away and worth the trip.

I know of Blackhawk farms, but have never seen it, i've heard its a narrower karting track, but im not positive.

dont they race the cart or formula 1 at elkart lake in WI, i never knew it can be used by anyone to race there car on its course.

yeah i totally forgot about elkhart lake, cart used to go there, i dunno if they're going this year or not. i have no idea if they're open to the public or how often.

gingerman was cool because its not super high speed, its realitivly cheap, somewhat close, and its a grass roots type facility, no big league races here, so they cater to the ametures. and gm does lots of testing there, which is kinda cool.

edit: now that i remember i think i know someone who had a driving class up at elkart lake, ill ask.
