If you want a car to race, get a Corvette or Viper or Ferrari. Or whatever. Those things were made to take punishment on a regular basis. Most street cars can take some abuse, but only to a point. That is why people are blowing up engines, they're pushing it beyond that point (i.e. nitrous, s/c).
