running high boost on a high compression motor is asking for trouble, if you ask me. it can be done with proper engine managment, and HIGH octane fuel. Yeah, a turbo'd honda would be nice, but it would make a peaky power curve even more peaky with a turbo. Imagine the lack of low end on a honda combined with a bit of lag, you get the picture.
You dont necisarily have to lower the compression ratio, you can just run lower boost, which means less power, which aint no fun! Those who are thinking/doing the 3.0 mod have the right idea in my opinion, much cheaper, simpler setup, all ford parts, more reliable in the long run.
